Anyone currently enrolled in recognised secondary education in Victoria!

Congress 2021 took place online via Zoom on Wednesday 22 September 2021.

We can only host a limited number of students at Congress, so we cap each school to 3 students to make sure students from all schools across Victoria get the chance to participate. Make sure you've spoken with your student representative group to see if students from your school are already going!

Nope! Everyone has a voice, and everyone should be heard. If you are a Victorian secondary student, you can participate.

Nope! Schools can register their students, but you can also register as an individual student yourself. Please note only 3 students from each school can participate, so make sure you talk to someone at school to see if anyone else from your school might be going.

General sale tickets cost $33 plus GST per student.

Secondary students from across Victoria, the VicSRC Student Executive Advisory Committee running the show, and VicSRC staff and volunteers supporting.

Virtual Congress is facilitated by our Student Executive Advisory Committee members, with VicSRC adult staff and volunteers supporting them and coordinating the event logistics.

We use Zoom’s highest security and privacy settings, including:

  • session passwords

  • monitoring who is requesting to join sessions

All Zoom sessions are recorded for child safety. All recordings are deleted within 7 days of recording, unless needed for review.

We have a Code of Conduct we ask participants to follow for Virtual Congress to help ensure the event is an enjoyable and engaging experience for everyone. If a participant is not behaving appropriately, we may ask them to remove themselves from the event.

We have disabled any direct (individual) messaging on our platforms that cannot be monitored.

We do not share participants’ contact information with other participants.
