Want to write for the Student Voice Hub?

Welcome to the Student Voice Hub! A news source by students, for students.

Want to share a story? Read the guidelines below then send us an email at [email protected] telling us about your idea and we'll be in touch!

What can I write about on the SVH?

We're interested in stories from students around the state! Stories about things you've changed in your school (or things you want to change in your school), what your experience of school is like (especially if you don't see people like you talking about their experience very often) or a big idea you have about changing education for the better!

What should I do before I get in touch?

It's a good idea to read some of the things already on the SVH to get an idea of what is out there and what our blog posts usually sound like.

You don't need to have written the whole post before you reach out to us – we're keen to hear your ideas and help you out with the writing along the way

What will happen after I reach out?

We'll get back to you and discuss the piece you're interested in writing (or have written if you're sending a finished piece in). We'll support you to write the piece and do some editing once it's finished – don't worry, we won't make big changes or publish it without checking with you first!

Then it'll go up on the SVH! This might take a little while, we have a schedule to make sure we're publishing things when they'll reach the most people.
